The Greater Hickory Metro of North Carolina is comprised of Caldwell, Catawba, Alexander and Burke counties. People are relocating here from all areas of the country, due in part, to the beautifully developed neighborhoods awaiting them. Perfectly situated, the Catawba Valley is rich in history and culture, with theatre groups, symphonies, museums and many other attractions. Best of all, the Blue Ridge Parkway, rated as one of the nation’s more scenic byways, is located just an hour North of this picturesque area. Charlotte/Douglas International Airport is just an hour South of Hickory. Winston-Salem is located an hour East and Asheville an hour West.
