Lake Hickory @94.5% Till April

Duke Energy who owns and manages the water and land under Lake Hickory has dropped the water level until mid April to work on Oxford Dam near Hwy 16. Lakeside owners are unhappy about their boats sitting on the lake bottom for a month, but they fail to realize they don't own their frontage. Duke owns it and is permitting them to use it. Time flies and it will soon be April 18!
