Conover

It all began in the mid 1800s known for the "Y" intersection of trains going either North or South, Conover started out as Wye Town until Canova was adopted then transformed ino Conover over several years and chartered in 1876 and incorporated in 1877. This quaint town of 10 square miles is just 3 miles north of downtown Newton and 10 miles east of downtown Hickory. For more information, check out this Youtube page.
